I try to look at things different, see the positive more /
And it's easier in Summer when the sun hits us all /
So now I keep my spirits higher with the temperature rising /
Folks I'm lucky to call friends, it's them I spend time with /

Day trips with my fam, to the beach with my dog those /
Ice creams and sight seeing, the scenery God's own /
We all need a little break from the rat race /
Just to put us back in touch with all that we have, take /

Nothing for granted, its all inter-connected /
Good vibrations we send out are infectious, it's them which /
Help to lengthen our life-span and the science behind it /
Every atom's intention is affected or guided /

By a mind in contention, discontented or content /
Is the glass half-full, guess it depends on your prospect /
And whatever you're going through will affect it, I spose /
And to find the silver lining is an art to behold //

I just wanna keep on top of those small things
And yeah they're adding up but that's life

Compare yourself to someone else's success
Well that isn't really gauging it right
And everyone's too busy to acknowledge that
